The finance and accounts department, a core functional wing that works closely with the Board and act as professional advice and control service for the financial activities of the Company. It also helps the other departments to meet their service objectives by acquiring services and goods, allocating the company’s financial resources, processing financial transactions and providing information and analysis as a basis for decision making. The business functions include strategic budgeting, cash flow management, debt servicing, tax planning, accounting, auditing and controlling.

Procurement

Taking stocks and inventories in one’s job stride

Purchasing assistants or departmental buyers will be tasked with taking purchase requests from various departments within a company and obtain price quotes from suppliers. Responsibilities also involve preparation of purchase orders on behalf of the company. The professional must review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to determine which would provide the best deal. Other duties include creating and maintaining purchasing files and price lists, as well as determining adequacy of the inventory on hand.

Projects

Spearheading radical and benchmarking efforts in innovation

Duties of professionals involved will include the study of scope, magnitude, requirements and feasibility of suggested projects at given locations. The personnel will be tasked with suggesting the most expedient alternatives to match clients’ requirements and executing the suggested proposed plan of action. Team assembly and task delegation falls under the ambit of the project lead. Entails visits to sites of projects at varying stages.

IT Department

The required personnel will be tasked with the maintenance, upgrade and uninterrupted operations of digital information systems. Maintaining impregnable security against data theft and corruption and/ or loss also devolves upon the IT professional. Troubleshooting regular issues with performance and communication of computer systems shall be acknowledged to exist under this professional’s purview.

Business Development & Marketing

Guiding leads into substantial business opportunities

The business development executive will be tasked with discovering, contacting and transforming all possible leads into tangible business for the company. Networking ability and that of fostering constructive dialogue with non-governmental organisations, municipal corporations and urban and rural infrastructural departments are a must. The marketing executive shall publicly represent the company’s strengths and specialities in a manner conducive to best distinguish it from the competition and offer it a clear advantage.

Establish and safeguard hassle-free functioning of all services of the company

The Operations officer is granted complete functional oversight over the Project Location the company houses. Tasked with identifying, alerting the relevant personnel to and mitigating every possible exigency so as to ensure interruption-free and on-schedule delivery of products and services to clients.
